Hi Guys, Now we are stepping up the notch on the Security, Compression and file sharing. What would be fantastic is Office Integration so within Office 2007 and above within the ribbon the user can work on a document and then Sign, Encrypt and Verify it before closing or then Upload it to Cloud / FTP. Even schedule a backup for that exact file if on local, network path. Having a destroy document button would also be great! Meaning if the user opens an attachment they have decrypted from email they can read it and then press “Destroy” when finished and PA wipes over that file using methods in their settings. The fact that you have already designed a ribbon menu for Zip To Email and that I have developed Office Plugins many times gives me confidence this is something you guys can do without a problem. You could even get this in alpha stage before PowerArchiver 2013 Final is released! Cloud Upload to Cloud Compress to Cloud Schedule Backup FTP Upload to FTP Compress to FTP Schedule Backup Office Security Verify Sign Manage PGP Keys Encrypt Document Destroy Document

Hi Guys, The file Optimization Feature in powerarchiver is really handy! I use it a lot to bring down large files without having to compress it. Or I optimize the file and then Compress it to bring it down before sending out. This got me thinking over the feature, it would be great if you could improve on it so you had the following; Multiple File Selection Currently you can only select 1 file , it would be great if you could select as many as you like and PowerArchiver will seek out the ones compatible with optimization and run them through the engine. Folder Selection The same as above but if i right click on a folder and select Optimize files it PowerArchiver will go through all files , sub folders and files and optimize everything that can be. **Optimization Options **You can optimize PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc but if you could create a new Dialog so the user can select “ALL” or say optimize only Excel Documents. **Optmize & Compress To **Once Optimized bring up compression window or shells for differnt types. Optimize & SendTo… (Cloud, FTP Email) etc Optimize & Encrypt Using the latest FIP’s and PGP Encryption methods. **Improved Optimized Progress Screen **Remove the current Dialog and replace with the traditonal progress compression window. There isnt a need to see the XML structure’s really. *Scheduled Background Optimization My Favourite The ability to select a folder, or multiple folders or files in varous locations and tell PowerArchiver to Optimize them every Day at a particular time. This means that every file, folder containing large files can be consistantly brought down is size by one User. Meaning Reports, forms and presentations are consistently optimized.

Hi! It is great that PowerArchiver is being imroved with the 2013 version , however , I am still waiting for this requested rather basic and very usefull feature (that you when in the “with options” interface then may choose both Encrypt and make SFX in one operation) to be added as described in first post……

If possible, I would like the ability to test (the integrity of a) PAE file, within PA, or better yet, within the shell extension. Not sure whether to create a new thread . . . but one more wish: Allow the user to define a “compress to” option — so if there is some particular format and profile she likes to use, it will be directly available from the shell (without choosing Compress with Options).

A user opens the config window. Clicks on update. Runs patchbeam. Then, whether you cancel (the config window) or hit the ‘X’ (within the config window), it minimizes PA without closing the config window. To get the config window closed, I have to unminimize PA and then close the config window. Seems it also happens with other changes in the config window. But always happens after clicking the update button. Would be nice to close the config window w/o closing (or minimizing) PA. Obviously, nothing major. This goes WAY does the list of changes.

If this isn’t a function it would be great to make sure everything in the back ground backups run without any popups.

I have been in a position over the past five years where I would send at least 5 URLs (and some days 50) a day, every day, to people at universities around the world. In my experience, at least 1 in 10 had trouble using long, wrapping URLs – even if I had gone to some trouble to avoid this problem (creating new line breaks before the start of a long URL, using tricks to make sure it is “blue lined.” I have about the same rate with ac. Changing 15 characters to 2 would ensure that it never happens with attachment cloud. No doing that means the product is less usable. If I cannot be sure that attachments get through, or worse, be sure that some of them don’t, that’s a problem. Then having to go on and resend them as full attachments defeats its purpose. There may be another work around, but I don’t know what it is (even tinyurl or snipurl doesn’t always work, depending on the email settings of corporate firewall).

we can do it from interface… where you send email by going to attachmentcloud.com/send and then we can insert special link to each… but that cant work if you send via ZipToEmail application since email is sent via outlook and we dont see who are you sending it to.

It would be great if you could batch extract with options? EX Options: Location of extraction, how often you want it extracted, e-mail of what wasn’t extracted. Other things like this.

. . . it is a fine one. Always worked flawlessly. The time is a mere glitch. One suggestion: could the message automatically inserted in the email message be put a txt or rtf file so that each individual user could edit it?

@TheTwist: UltraEdit uses the specification of Portableapps.com. For more information, visit the link below. http://portableapps.com/development It would be really great if there would be a portable version of PowerArchiver. The portable version has been discussed a few times in the past. Think we need to be patient … :) See: title: USB Portable version at: http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5657 and Title: portable powerarchiver vote at: http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3462 and Title: Portable version (.exe) at: http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4578 and Title: U3 yes, but non-U3 portable? at: http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1686 There may be some more threads, I don’t know. =

You have now fixed drag and drop (from Explorer) so that I can choose various profiles. Thank you. Could you now set it up so that the system remembers the last chosen profile? Even thought I have created several ZIP profiles, when I D&D the system always reverts to “ZIP Default,” rather than the last one I used (ZIPx, which includes encryption). Thank you.

:) I’m positive the team will add this to the list. Things like this are fairly simple to do.
