I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
Solved Find file in archive.

Would it be possible at all in some future version perhaps, to have a “find file” function?
Reason I ask is that I was looking for a certain file I knew existed in an archive, but I had to unzip it then use another tool to find the file. It would have saved that extra step if that function existed in PA itself. -
Damn, just found the option hidden away under the “Select” button on the toolbar. Doh!
Ctrl + F most definitely doesn’t work though.

Hi Luxor,
you can already search an archive without unzipping it withing PowerArchiver by CTRL + F
Its not the most advanced tool but it does work.Or did you have something else to mind?
I have an idea on how this could be improved but it would mean it being a brand new feature, likely for Toolbox editions.

See that’s what I thought as well as I was convinced it used to be there, but hitting Ctrl + F gets me this.
No option to find anything at all.

@spwolf this could be a new feature request and rolled out in a future release? - get the bug fixed for sure. But, there is scope here for an advanced search facility within the Toolbox’s edition.
