@bsiegel: … a list that people can add extensions to that would be “handled as zip” by the engine / shell extension? That way you don’t have to sniff for formats, but people can add ones that are useful to them. No need to limit this to zip formats - could be useful for ALL formats handled by PA :D

@Micke: Thanks for the information, I didn’t know it was possible. The program looks very interesting if you need more than 4 virtual drives. Your welcome and I didn’t know it was possible either till I found the program Personally I don’t really care much about it displaying Virtual drives I would have it not display a if possible but display of one is required I mainly just use it to insert images into physical drives and it would be awesome if PA offered similar

I use GSplit for splitting 7zip archives. As long as 7zip naming standard is respected 7zip sees the split files as multi-volume and is able to extract them.

Hi, Batch archive tool is very nice tool. But my problem is with following scenario: I have many tasks already running in main queue. Now I want to run batch archive job. Unfortunately it starts in parallel with jobs in main queue and slows down my machine. Please add option to add archives from batch archive list to main queue. In my opinion this batch archive tool is kinda duplicated functionality. I would love to be unified with main queue. This means to be accessible from context menu. When I select multiple files or folder(s) I should have context menu item (Batch archive …) which opens Batch archive dialog. I this dialog I’d like to see a list with files/folders selected and be able to drag & drop other files I may select. After I press OK all files in list to be added to main queue. Also for Multi-Extract I’d like to see similar functionality.

Hi, Queue window does not have option to stay on top. When hidden I have no feedback about progress of tasks. At least when one or all jobs are finished I’d like some balloon hints to pop above tray or/and to hear some sound.

Hi, I’d like to see similar functionality like Extract Now freeware has. You can search for archives in a folder and sub-folders and automatically add tasks to queue for extracting each archive found.

There is this old (closed) thread http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3462 that thread is closed. Still I wud like to bring this up again. Would it be possible to have a portable .exe of PA. I know (and have) software that allows to be ‘exported’ to a portable version, including all settings. (It requires an small extra license fee though) Thanks and keep up the good work.
