@spwolf: there are no maximum sizes (practically unlimited) ;-) Thanks, that’s great! :) 7zip is my favorite format by far. Maybe it takes a lot of memory, but it’s really good compression, and I have plenty of memory.

ZIP SFX’s do not support ZIP AES yet… use 7zip AES instead…

@spwolf: there is no faster way, this was done on purpose to significantly slow down dictionary based attacks. you can use zip aes or 7zip aes instead if you want… Yeah I don’t know why I didn’t think of this, that is a very good reason :)

@mentorcaptl: When trying to look at the back-up file created in PA with PA the system hangs. The file is a little more than 6MB in size. We can view the file in Winzip. Is this a known issue or are we doing something wrong? TIA, Tammy it is not an known issue thats for sure… so send email to support at conexware dot com. thanks!

the way Windows Installer works, it uninstalls previous versions completly…. so even if you had previous version installed, as soon as you install new one, you lose all of the previous files ;-) i am closing this, thanks everyone.
