so its shell extensions, first pic did not show shell extensions… seems like 64bit shell extensions show that option, while 32bit do not (as it should be)…

@Sir: I have already hit the point where I am in a corner of a room rocking myself repeatedly. Surely, my collegues in ConeXware can see what they are doing to us Alpha Testers! :D I’m hearing you on that one Richard…didn’t you see me in the other corner of the room ?? [image: crazyz.gif]

;-). Updater only checks the version of PAVD, it can not check if drivers are installed properly, so if anyone experiences this kind of problem, just run the installation again… It works fine in all OS’s, no need to worry… thanks!

@davidsplash: Why not add crc to each file so even when compressed it shows you the crc of the files I assumed the CRCs were probably correct. Anyway you can’t just change the 7zip format, you’ve got to stay compatible with other 7-zip archivers.

@TBGBe: I think you mis-understood spwolf. He meant that if you need to open files from within the archive then your compression utility (java program) should NOT store the drive/root information as part of the path. So instead of storing as “C:\Export\2.txt” store it as “\Export\2.txt” or just “Export\2.txt”. Hi, After removing the ‘C:’ i am able to open the files which are in that ZIP file . Thank you for your valuable reply and help. Regards Balaji

@Sir: Hense why it can be seen as an additional layer of security :) …as indeed can finding an AV product that does NOT slow down one’s machine to a crawl…something I confess that I have not seen in recent years in testing several products on my test bed at sub renewal time :);). DrT

nope… PA still installs 64bit only… there was an wishlist item for that… to install both, we have to re-write our shell extensions… which means it has to come in major release.
