I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
Option to back up to USB stick
-
At present I use Syncback, Comodo, Allways, etc. to back up to one or more USB sticks. This works well. I fond that backing up to a re-writable DVD is unsatisfactory as the DVD fills up fairly quickly (even when using incremental backup). Once the DVD is full it is completely useless.

Yes. With Syncback, for example, I have the option of backing up to a DVD or to a USB stick. Syncback in the first instance backs up the nominated files to a USB stick. later on, after you have worked on files, SyncBack synchronises the files on the USB stick with the original files. I should add that the files are not compressed.

You can backup to USB stick in PA Backup as well, up to 3 different drives (including USB sticks) at the same time, plus dvd and plus ftp. Just select drive that USB stick is and it will back it up there.
