Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats?
    A

Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)

    Optimize archive on Context Menu
    W

I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.

Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

      Hi all,

Currently PA Pro can upload archive to FTP/FTPS site, what about adding WebDav and Amazon S3 compatibility in PA Pro 2010 ?

As PowerArchiver Pro is able to mount ISO file thank to Virtual drives, what about using this facility to mount other archive type as zip or 7Z ?

Currently, I use another software, Winmount, available at http://www.winmount.com, which is able to mount several type of files, iso, and many many oter ones and it would be nice if I could use one tool instead of two to deal with my archive files…

I did not think the PA Virtual drive was for DVD rom image only…
I saw it as a virtual generic driver abble to mount every type of archive…
The main goal we can find here is the ability to browse archives qhichkly without opening a particular software as the virtual drive is available at the operating system level …

Both XP and Vista have this ability built in. It is also the first thing I disable when installing either of these two OSs :).

i understand why winmount does it, it is just the purpose of such tool, so why not and there is no archive handling interface in it anyway… but there is really no sense for PA to mount zip files, when it already has better way of handling this.

iso “archives” are different, as they are used for many different purposes, some of which require that they are loaded as dvd rom drives for them to function properly.

Ok, understood now ! But why having developped such functionality then in PA whereas free alternative as Virtual Clone Drive for example exists ?

More precisely Winmount has not only mount but also browse and compress archive management facilities…
It’s true that Winmount’s archive features are limited compared to PA’s ones but those are most of the time sufficient to deal with archives quickly and conveniently…

currently PA Pro handles ISO images, which is true is the most used format concerning this type of usage, but are there other image types support planned as .NRG for example ?

Vista and XP can only handle zip and cab but no other archives….
For me it is very practical …

Other wishes already suggested in the past …

Currently we can Print file listing to html or text documents, it would be nice if we could have the ability to print file listing to clipboard too…

Having some archive infos displayed when hovering archives (such as files and folders number and their compressed size).
IT could be displayed thanks to tooltips or a dedicated archives tab in the file properties…
As far as I remember Winzip has this feature since years …

you need to write separate wishlist thread for each wish, otherwise we wont be able to keep track of them properly.

Ok! Should I rewrite those already made or can I go on and create a single thread only for the upcoming ones ?
