    Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats?
    A

    Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
    Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)

    Optimize archive on Context Menu
    W

    I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
    Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.

    Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

            Having additional support for historic Formats is just as important as developing Future Technologies such as PAF.

            Evidently, the more PowerArchiver supports enables users to eventually “Convert” them over to newer more efficient types such as PA’s.

              people only stick with certain archivers cause of compatibility with certain archive formats. Uha give s you the best compression of any format.

                would it not be a great idea for powerachiver to have some sort of way of interacting with older formats via their command line programs using pa’s plugin format?

                    @spwolf:

                    :) Indeed, Keep the old for Backward combatibility and include the New formats for Conversions to more dynamic and updated types.

                      we added a bunch of them in 2011… we will try adding only things that are used, as everything new that we add, adds complexity to PA.

                        I wish format methods wernt so scattered. Why cant we just upgrade on formats instead of creating new ones… I know why but it would be great to have cab, iso, 7zip & paf. And if someone codes something great instead of creating say .rjw just merge the new method into whatever existing formats match its criteria

                          well if the makers of powerarchiver could tell us how to add commandline versions of archivers to the plugin system i would be more than greatfull as it has to be specific to pa
