I would like powerarchiver to suggest the best possible archive format to archive files in. I dont even mind if it suggests putting all files in different archive formats as long as i get the best possible arche compression. And if this can be done by clicking yes it would be a great help.

In Office 2007 when you click the orb button to view the recently opened/saved files, you have the option to ‘pin’ files to the menu so they always remain. Since PA follows the Office style (ribbon, orb button etc) I thought it would be an excellent feature to add. It would be very useful if you could clear recent files and not lose the pinned ones that you use often. Like wise as files get bumped out of the menu to make room for new ones, again the pinned files would remain. I attached a concept image of what I am describing.
How about a system tray icon?

Okay cool. However, I was referring to a more permanent icon that is always resident in the tray, offering access to a custimzable menu of stuff, such as items from the tools menu. Just an idea.

strange but I seem unable to get the mount/unmount options showing together in any scenario…what I mean is in the same menu…lol…even if I have images mounted or unmounted. I think I need more sleep…:)

That’s why I suggested to have this as an option: either use the default password for all zips or let users decide to add different pw’s for the different zipfles. For quite some stuff I have the same password and they are basically meant to avoid stuff being read the chance the pc is left unattended (or may be under repair). Well, anyway …
