Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)

    Optimize archive on Context Menu
    W

I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.

Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

true but if your are using say a mobile computer and cant update your antivirus it would help there.

Anti virus are only as good as the update.

          what does everyone else think.

within archives you can have files which are known to be dangerous if you you can stop these being executed than it will stop virus and people running them. Happen to me in the past.

                But how are they run?
Would you want PA to “override” user controls (double click etc)?

if someone clicks on an archive and opens it up and then clicks a file excluded bt pa pa should then stop its execution and say this is in the list of bab files for security.

Bit like a virus program can force certain files not to run if you tell it to.

How many times have you found a archive infected but need to access it to get the uninfected files out of it?
                  i have.

                  Anivirus dont work trust me

Now I understand!!! I agree! I have NIS 2012, and used NOD32, McAfee and Avast! all of such have ok archive scanning facilties. However, its never gaurenteed.

Implementing Pro and Toolbox with Archive Security Handling process would be a good idea!
