Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)

    Optimize archive on Context Menu
    W

I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.

Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

Hello I am using the latest Beta PowerArchiver 2010 Pro Build 11.50.41 Beta 3.

I burned 13 Wav files from my hard drive that I had ripped from a music CD.

And the new burned CD does not play in my stereo.

Is PowerArchiver unable to make a playable music CD that would play in a home stereo?

My computer does see the 13 files on the CD however. But not my stereo.

      Am I doing something wrong?

As I understand it PowerArchiver can only create data disks, not music disks.

Yes it would be very nice to be able to make an audio CD that you can play in a car CD player for example.

I this amusing mental image of spwolf’s jaw sitting on the floor shortly before typing that reply. :)

Put in my vote for “please no.” Audio CD burning in a file compression program is the epitome of feature creep and bloat.

you do know it is completly separate part of PA, not same executable at all :).

It would increase installation by 200kb, but it would not affect actual PA at all :)

                          Hello to you,
Excuse me, but allow me to disagree with you.
I do understand your idea, but like to comment as flws:

                          What burning-software do users need?

                          1. When they need specific DVD-burning software, that is removing DVD-protection, split DVD’s from DVD9 to 2x DVD5, remove movie-subtitles, etc. they need DVDFab, AnyDVD, DVD Cloner, or such kind of applications.

                          2. These applicatons cannot burn single non-DVD files though, like documents, photos, folders.
For this a 2nd burning program is required, like Nero.
Nero cannot remove DVD-protections, so, 2 applications are required, 2x licenses, 2x prices, 2x installation,

                          3. PowerArchiver can burn single files, but not audio cd’s - for this again another burning software (like Nero, or free CDBurnerXP).

                          4. Users who are having Nero, will usually burn with Nero, i.e. the burning features or PA are often forgotten and unused. That’s a waste of possibilities, don’t you agree?

Now… PowerArchiver could take over the basic burning-functionality of Nero/CDBurnerXP…
Nero has become a bloat program now, with all multimedia stuff included. Any user having dedicated media software (like PowerDVD) will not interested in all the extra Nero stuff.

In specific cases like removing DVD protections, for that dedicated software wud still be needed…

But personally I would be very, very … happy should PA have the same features as CDBurnerXP or Nero.

                          This is my view…:)

                            Yes pls…

                            • burn files to CD/DVD (already available)
                            • burn audio CD’s - new
                            • burn movie DVD - new
                            • burn .iso (already available)

                            It would be great…

If it saved me having to install another CD burning program (Nero/Roxio et al.) which frankly are full of bloat these days, I would be all for it
