I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

It would be nice to be able to at least extract Zstandard archives.

I prefer to use light themes, and when, for example, I have set up my main archive screen to be Classic Toolbar with Blizzard Blue, files in the archive are highlighted (no checkboxes, full row select) with white text on grey background. They are easy to see .
However, in the Add screens, the files and folders are black type upon a pale blue background, which is not so readily visible, especially when highlighting separate files in lists with Ctrl/Click for addition. It would be ideal if the backgrounds to files in these screens could be set to mimic the highlighting of those in the main archive window.
I have tried experimenting with different themes and settings for skins, toolbars and so forth, but, unless I’ve missed something, none seem to give me the effect I want.

Re: Windows 11 Context menu support
It would really make me happy if you put .BH in the Windows 11 context menu. I know it’s in the “More Options” section, but this would make it more convenient. Don’t know why the option to add it to the menu isn’t there in the first place. P-L-E-A-S-E ??? :) Thanks You!

Any chance of including this format in a future release?

Exceptional compression levels.
Thanks.

In Windows 11 a new explorer context menu is introduced.
The “old” context menu may still be accessed through an additional mouse click, to reach the PowerArchiver context menu functions, but this isn’t comfortable at all.Could you add PowerArchiver items to the first level (and ideally disable the Windows native ZIP entry)
Add batch to queue
-
A feature that would be awesome for me would be the ability to select multiple archives in Windows explorer and add them all to the queue to start decompressing. The queue could then just ask where the standard “Extract To…”, “Extract to here…” or “Extract to Here\ArchiveName” then it would just kick off.
That would be awesome. Yup!
-
you can do that if you enable Always use queue in PA Starter right click options :-)
-
Really? I can’t get this to work.
I’m talking about extracting multiple archives in just one click.
Also, if the queue window is open, dragging and dropping into the queue would be cool, too.
Imagine this.
I have C:\Temp
Inside this folder there are 3 zip files. Lets call them TestApplication1.zip, TestApplication2.zip and TestApplication3.zip.
I’d like to be able to select all the files, right click in Windows Explorer and say “Extract selected files…”
At this point the queue would take all these files in. Then, for each archive, it could have a dialog box, “where do you want to extract this?” with a checkbox for (do this for all archives in queue) then have the normal options you have. In my case, I’d like to extract them into a folder with the archive name.
So the end result would be like this…
C:\Temp\TestApplication1\TestApplication1.exe
C:\Temp\TestApplication2\TestApplication2.exe
C:\Temp\TestApplication3\TestApplication3.exeAnd I accomplished this in just a few clicks.
Right click files
Extract all…
Extract to CurrentDirector\ArchiveNameHope that makes more sense!

Ok, so, guess what… you added a new shell extention option in some new version that does exactly what I want. But you probably already knew that.
You guys rule. Sorry I’m an idiot! :D

extract to filename/?
I think it was added in 6.0 or 5.1? Not sure
:-)
