I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

It would be nice to be able to at least extract Zstandard archives.

I prefer to use light themes, and when, for example, I have set up my main archive screen to be Classic Toolbar with Blizzard Blue, files in the archive are highlighted (no checkboxes, full row select) with white text on grey background. They are easy to see .
However, in the Add screens, the files and folders are black type upon a pale blue background, which is not so readily visible, especially when highlighting separate files in lists with Ctrl/Click for addition. It would be ideal if the backgrounds to files in these screens could be set to mimic the highlighting of those in the main archive window.
I have tried experimenting with different themes and settings for skins, toolbars and so forth, but, unless I’ve missed something, none seem to give me the effect I want.

Re: Windows 11 Context menu support
It would really make me happy if you put .BH in the Windows 11 context menu. I know it’s in the “More Options” section, but this would make it more convenient. Don’t know why the option to add it to the menu isn’t there in the first place. P-L-E-A-S-E ??? :) Thanks You!

Any chance of including this format in a future release?

Exceptional compression levels.
Thanks.

In Windows 11 a new explorer context menu is introduced.
The “old” context menu may still be accessed through an additional mouse click, to reach the PowerArchiver context menu functions, but this isn’t comfortable at all.Could you add PowerArchiver items to the first level (and ideally disable the Windows native ZIP entry)
Kgb, Rar, Iso

IT would be awesome if PowerArchiver 2007 could compress/decompress KGB Archives…. more about KGB: http://kgbarchiver.sourceforge.net/
It would also be great if RAR compress would be added, and the rar compress would then need to include Multi RAR’s .r00, .r01 etc…
I don’t care if including RAR would double the cost of power archiver, I would still buy it. Maby it would be possible to have two versions of power archiver then, Lite version that wouldn’t include rar compress and would be cheaper, pro version that would include everything and cost more…
compressing ISO’s would be great.
Newest version of 7z would also be kinda good.
These are the only thing that I think is needed to make PowerArchiver the best archiver out there…
currently I have PowerArchiver and need to have both winrar and KGB archiver too, I hate that and want to have one application that does everything for me…
What do you think about this?

RAR - been discussed requested many times.
Basically, if you want RAR compression, buy the RAR license.KGB - mentioned in
http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1370ISO - discussed here
http://www.powerarchiver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1520Note: on this forum, Search can be used with just the three letter format name (ISO, KGB, RAR etc) :D

yeah I know, but KGB hasn’t been requested before…

KGB is cool, but main problem there is that extraction takes as long as compression, so how useful is that?
We hope to have an plugin system in the future, so you will be able to add any engine you wish…
-
yeah KGB is pretty slow but with a faster CPU it takes less time, have you seen the killer compression it has? I downloaded a file that was 1.43mb compressed to kgb and when I decompressed it the size is 439mb
Plugin system sounds cool, then .dax compress for the PSP would also be possible.
Also with the plugin system then it would finally be possible to use PowerArchiver as all in one archiver.Do you know when we might expect the PowerArchiver plugin system? In the 2007 version?

Anything that is better than 7-ZIP in terms of compression, takes too damn long!
7-ZIP ultra took 3 seconds, KGB took 3 minutes to compress a 3 MB folder! The best compression setting wasn’t used!
On a 3GHz PC, it is unacceptable!!7-ZIP is the best!!

problem is decompression… it doesnt really matter how long compression takes, as long as decompression is acceptable… As much as I saw, KGB takes around the same time for both, which is really way too much…
But yes, 2007 we hope… :-).
