I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
.cbr?

Thanks for this program, I bought it after about two minutes of comparison with winrar. In other words, it’s almost perfect.
However, can .cbr files be added to the list of associable file formats, please? I tend to run into those frequently.
Thanks again

what is actually cbr?

It’s a format used for comic books and it stores the files in RAR-compression. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comic_Book_Archive_file
It would be nice to have it supported by PA in the future, because they are really just .rar-files filled with images and thus can be extracted just the same. In fact, manually opening them or renaming them does work, but things like multi-extract don’t.

bump
Can this please be included? It really shouldn’t be hard to implement because the archive itself is already supported. -
Is it an opensource archive format? if so I am sure it wont be a problem for powerarchiver to support it.
-
It is no format at all, just a renamed .rar file to work with CDisplay (see the Wikipedia-Link I posted). It is just a matter of PA recognizing and handling the format for purposes like multi-extract or “extract to”-shell extensions

ow I see! Its type unknown to me. if thats just the case I can’t see the PA developers having a problem with it?
spwolf, Ivan? whats your response?
