I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
Repair zip tool
i would like to without having to rename a zio sfx file be able to try a repair on it. at the moment you have to change the extension exe to zip for it to work.
A lot more detail/discussion here:
true but i wanted to make them aware of this problem and to make it easier for users. who don’t know that this can be done. Not all users are technically mindeed as us.
you can actually select exe file and it will repair it :-).
There is no need to actually rename the extension.
Problem with adding *.exe to the list is that 99.99% of exe’s on your computer are not sfx’s…
then is there a way of detecting from the sfx header if it is a zip sfx
