    Windows Dark and Highlight Archives Colour Bug

    Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 with some updates but WU is Disabled blame MS PowerArchiver Toolbox 2015 v15.04.03 Choose to use “Windows Dark” skin, Go into “Configuration” and select “Highlight archives” change from Black to any other colour, click OK twice I think. Powerarchiver applies the new colour to archives briefly but then returns to Black again!

    How to (or can we) use old buttonbars with 2018 skins?

    I still have a fondness for the very old buttonbars to be found at http://www.powerarchiver.com/skins/toolbar/. Up until (I think) PA2017 it was possible to use them with the more recent skins, but I haven’t yet been able to work out a way, or the right combination, to do so with PA2018. It’s not exactly the end of the world if the old bars can no longer be used, but I’m curious to know if they still can.

    I have had to reinstall PA 2016. I can now change to any of the included skins (Classic, etc.) but cannot use any of the downloaded skins (in the SKIN folder or obtained by double clicking on the download). Any ideas, please?

    Hi all…would like to know if it is possible to skin the main window to be other then white after the list of compress file list are shown? :rolleyes: shot1.jpg show the main windows b4 it load anythings. but once it load something the list will be in white with black text. I wish to change it to black with red text is it possible? shot2.jpg …where do i go to change that green LED to something else and its yellowish creamy background?     Hi All, Currently PowerArchiver 2011/12 hosts; 1 default Classic Toolbar and 20+ downloadable skins via website. The user can also select 6 preinstalled Ribbon interfaces ranging from office 2007/10 with Black, Silver and Blue. So significantly more classic old style than modern. Do you as a PowerArchiver User prefer Ribbon or Classic?

    Hi! All the Skins that can be download seems to be for the classic interface of PowerArchiver. Is it possible to create and/or change Skins for the ribbon interface? It’s really not that important to me, I’m only wondering if it’s possible. From what I can see, only the color scheme of the ribbon interface can be changed (Blue, Silver and Back).     I can’t see any way of accessing and downloading from the PA site the old button sets (Little One, Damas, Xp and so forth) which could be used instead of the default buttons if using the Classic skin rather than the modern ones. Is there any way of still being able to do this? Not a real necessity but some of those button sets were really good.

    I thought I would start and maintain a thread related to my skins. Since the site doesn’t maintain a “Last Updated” I’ll post news and changes here. This is the place if you want to submit feedback, ideas and of course problems. Current Skins SmoothVista, SmoothLime, LongHorn, Slate & Poisoned News (i) Currently I am working on two new skins and also performing numerous fixes and enhancements to existing skins. One issue in particular I am taking care of is the drop down arrow button located net to the Open button. I’ve managed to make it pretty slim in size allowing more space on the toolbar. So all skins will be updated by the end of the month. (ii) Aside from one skin author who loves rating 1’s on all my skins, I have gotten some great feedback from other users! So regardless, I will continue creating skins and I am looking forward to any and all feedback. (iii) Suggestions for icons and toolbar images. Icons are the hardest thing to do IMHO. Mostly because creating an icon that represents “compression” while looking different from other apps is a challenge. So what do you think? Toolbar images. What do people prefer? OS related images? 2D or 3D? Colorful or ?

    Hoping someone can help me with this problem. I am using SkinStudio to make a PA skin. My skin uses black toolbar buttons. The problem is I cant change the toolbar text color. In SkinStudio its been defined as White and it previews as white. But when I run PA and test the skin the text is still black. Any idea how to correct this? TIA

      Hi, I’m trying to make a Skin using SkinBuilder, but I can’t find where to change the Bitmap (or the Colors at least) of The Background of the Buttons in the main Bar of PA2006.

      In this Image you see which part I mean:

        yikes, dont do much at all. There will be major updates to the skinning engine coming within next 7 days… Wait for that please and everything will become clearer :-).

          Ok, thx 4 the Answer (I just wondererd because i imported the other skins in SkinBuilder and in the Screenshot of the preview in the Program there was a part with this background-bitmap, but then there wasn’t any parameter to change in the table on the left…).

          I’ll wait the new Skin Engin, thx a lot! :cool:

            Hi, I wouldn’t seem tedious, but after 3 weeks the program is remained unchanged: isn’t there maybe just an answer to my problem, which I’m sure is solveable also with this skin builder?

              unfortunalty, you have to wait few more days since skin format is changed completly…
