I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

some archive programs can give you the size of an uncompressed archive as well as its state when it is compressed (as it is now) . when will you add this feature.
-
can you name some of these programs?
I have no idea what you mean. -
ultimatezip and 7zip manager have this feature.

PA already does this i believe. open an archive and in the bottom right side, the brackets contain teh compressed size and teh size to teh left of it is when uncompressed i believe, correct me if im wrong.

Yes, but because of the problem with “solid” detection, the uncompressed size of individual files within archive is not shown.

right, you can not see this info on solid archive, even with 7zip FM.
How ever, with non solids you can.We can probably add this to PA, we will check it out. In reality, I doubt anyone uses 7zip w/o solid option, since it decreases the compression ratio by some 30%.
thanks,
