Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)

    Optimize archive on Context Menu
    W

I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.

Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

Hi, I don’t know if there’s a way to do this currently or not. I tried searching through the preferences and didn’t see it, so I’m posting this as a Wishlist item:

Usually when I’m trying to extract an archive, I create a folder and copy the archive into it and want to extract it there. Right now when I click “Extract” the popup window that contains the file selector treeview defaults to the last place I extracted to, I think. I’d like an option that makes it default to the directory that the archive is currently in. This would improve workflow quite a bit, because I find that file/directory selector dialog and its treeview sort of tedious to use.

Just right click on the file and select Extract Here.

If you have not set that up in the configuration yet just add it in Shell Extensions as in the attached pic.

To change this when using PowerArchiver (rather than explorer shell), check the different choices available under Configuration/Folders - Other Default Extract Location.
