Hi spwolf, The zip archive had been stored on a CDRW disc: most other zipped files on the disc extracted ok. Regarding that first reported error message, I came across it when attempting to extract all files at once. I have now encountered these two other pop-up error messages (applicable to several files) during my attempt to extract the files one at a time from the zip archive: “DynaZip Secure UnZip Error: Bad CRC” and “CRC Error. Continue?” Laurence

the signature itself is fine, but it’s just set again on top of the message. i even can’t remove it manually, as the compress dialog doesn’t allow me to edit the message at the same time.

It’s a good thing I added more memory to my system, so I can now use the ultra setting without any hiccups! ;-)

You can still use built in zip utility by right clicking on the zip file and selecting Explore. I just dont see why would you :-).

Thanks. I rebooted a couple of times after installing other software but this made no difference. I downloaded the PA release again and re-installed it, then rebooted again (for another reason). This eems to have done the trick. Thanks.

it is not sent automatically in order not to confuse the users as to which is which. Very small amount of PA 2006 users actually use PACL. regards,

I’m for one happy that a “Lifetime Licence” means that–it was a major reason for choosing this product (besides the fact that it worked well!) Other products should follow this model–how many of us bought “lifetime” license" until it was clarified–“while we support the product” (Norton)?

@MarcFou: LOL Actually I got it from the text file after installing the new version. I think it was either changes.txt or history.txt. I deleted the files so I cant go back to verify. WHATSNEW.TXT

@Koasati: Sorry, maybe I’m blind, but I don’t see that…… check the attachment. Ah, didn’t realise you were using the Shell Extension (compress with options and/or profiles) - I was referring to the Add window from within main PA application. Using Shell Extension you only have Full Path option. Shell with files (in same folder), either full path or no path. Shell with folders (and files), either full path or relative path.
