It would be nice to be able to set more options within individual ZTE – in particular: a) the number of times the file can be downloaded and b) how long it will stay on AC.
I have settings I normally use, set in the ZTE options dialogue. These work for 95% of my emails.
To change the settings for a single email (which I want to do every week or so), I have to change the settings, send that one email, and then change the configuration settings back to MY defaults.
Is this a realistic possibility?
A long time request.
If someone sends files via ZTE, and has the minimum size set to 15K, then if the person send 200 14K messages, none of them will be compressed.
Let the size be determine by the size of the entire archive, not each individual file within said archive.
For a while this was fixed . . .
Now AC is sending two notifications (an hour or so apart) for each download.
The version question. Online it says we can download version .25. But when I install it, it says I have version .23 – dated from 9/12. Is that right? Have there been no changes to ZTE in 11 months?
The wishes?
1. When someone downloads and installs the latest version, it would be nice NOT to have to re-enter the username (email) and PW.
2. Any chance ZTE could import the FTP profiles from PA – rather than the user having to reenter them?
Hi.
As it is now, we have 2 possible way to get an archive named when using zipped/FTP/Mailed, attachment.XXX or base on first attachment.
It would be really nice, if ZTE had an option, to make date+time the filename example.“07 june 2012” + “12:12:59” would be 070612121259.xxx or something like it.
Sorry for my bad English, I hope you get the idea :)
As it is now, I have to invoke zip with options, to use “encrypt filenames” it would be nice if that was an option I could set in the default option page, so all I had to do was invoke “to ZIP+FTP+EMAIL” so the package would be encrypted with password and filename encryption too.
If you are going to keep ZTE as a standalone option, I have one request:
Give the user the option of send it as a compressed attachment or as an item in the attachment cloud.
I realize you can already do the first if you just use PA (and not ZTE). But it seems that this would be a nice addition.
It would be nice to add an SFX option in ZTE.
Hi Guys,
two options that arnt available are;
FTP & Cloud
FTP & Cloud & email
You may ask! “why would you want to store the file on cloud & FTP??”
And I will answer you with
If i were sending a file to a customer who wasnt on my business network FTP but also wanted it available to fellow collegues permentaly within the network then i could.
So
Dear All,
Find attached the updated master model PA.XLS external users outside of this buisness network can download via AttachmentCloud this will remain available for 7 days.
Conexware employees who require to access this file now including any future updates made please access FTP.Conexware.com and login using your details.
Thank you
Would be cool if ZTE detects that PA is installed you could manage it from PA perhaps…or add its shell options to PA’s as a one stop shop. :)
Would be cool to see a option to select a certain FTP profile as the default so you don’t need to select which profile to use when uploading.
Looks like that did the trick!
One thing, I did noticed I entered the FTP info a bit wrong also, perhaps ZTE should check the FTP profile if one is created to see if it can connect? It gave me no errors so I didnt know until I was double checking. Possible maybe a green light or red light next to the profile or something.
Anyhow…thanks!
Trying to upload and send via customized FTP and not seeming to get it to work yet. Working on it
Update: No luck yet it just seems to zip the files and deliver them that way.
Encrypt filenames in default, would be nice.
