Paop

Will you all still be supporting PAOP, or will everything eventually have to move to ZTE?
-
Good question, I do believe when ZTE is fully working and the attachment cloud service is live this service will replace the current Outlook Plugin.
-
I would urge that you keep supporting PAOP.
ZTE has one really unique thing: the attachment cloud. Nothing else, really.
And I would use it so irregularly (and, if the file is unusually large, I could ftp it to a server where someone can download it.
But since it already includes compression engines, it seems to clutter the system . . . and might eventually cause problems.
So please do keep PAOP.

Good argument is don’t fix what isn’t broken. :-) but who is to say they may keep. oap as a freeware and zte as a plus service. Only time will tell.

paop is not going anywhere… but will paop be simpler version of ZTE? or will it be ZTE that uses PA only?
Not sure yet… right now we prefer it as simpler version, because it simply works.

Thanks.
True. You might add the attachment cloud in PAOP for those who want it.
I was thinking PAOP actually had one option PAOP didn’t have – to create an sfx file.
-
what office version are you using? as there are big differences in look and feel in office 2010 for instance.
-
I recently switched from 2007 to 2010.
There really isn’t any differences, but the settings for PAOP in 2010 at a bit hard to find. Having found them the same.
And I was wrong . . . there is no SFX option. I thought there was.
That would be nice since some people don’t have archive programs.

ZTE uses Toobars for options and settings, right? :-)

It is an item on the ribbon, which is nice.
