I installed powarc-macos20001.dmg and I am attempting to create a password protected zip file. When I create the zip in the UI it doesn’t write the file to the destination folder. No error message is displayed. The PA app has full folder permission. I’m new to Mac, but have been running PA on Windows for a long time. Will there be a new version of the Mac version soon?

Try cleaning PowerArchiver entry from Windows Installer database by using MSI Clean Up tool: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/windows_installer_cleanup_utility.html That should delete PowerArchiver previous version from registry and then you should be able to install new one. As to the images - in the future, you can use imgur.com to post links to image files, They are very reliable and great image host. thanks! hi @leishirsute1 We’ve checked with the latest version which created the encrypted archive properly. Right click on a folder>Encrypt and the archive is created inside the folder that you right clicked on. Please check that folder to see if it’s there. Thanks!

Hi @Podi and @Tumeez When you receive your account email and password from us, we recommend copying and pasting it into the login fields on the account login page as the login fields are case sensitive and copying and pasting should make sure you log in successfully.

What is the difference between a licence purchased via Gift Discount and a Home/Work licence? Also, how can I renew the PowerArchiver Select plan a year after the purchase? @spwolf Thanks. That’s working fine, and scheduled jobs are running as required. As I mentioned in a previous post in this thread, my .pbs scheduled jobs are timed to run when other system jobs, like Macrium Reflect image backups, aren’t due or running; and vice versa. However, I can see a situation in which I would want to use PA Queue, and thus need to run PA Starter, and I don’t think we yet have an answer, as to why PAS grabs so much CPU. I have previously used ProcessExplorer to lower the PAS priority, but this doesn’t appear to make any difference.

This still seems not to be fixed, is it?

Hi. The “Move” Action seems to be Not Working when used in the Tool – Batch Archive. Using the Options – Configuration – Compression Profiles ---- I created a Profile with the Action of Move. Also set were Zip, and Method Deflate. When I use the Tool - Batch Archive – It appears to me that the Action Move does not Move the compressed files (basically add to zip, and delete the added file from original location on the same disk). Zip file(s) are created and look ok. Typically I on the Batch Archive process – I have selected options to use a Profile with the Move Action. File’s Current Folder Group files from same folder into same archive Add subfolders to separate archives My PowerArchiver version is 21.00.17 . Can you reproduce ? – Or do you need additional details or information?

i just registered my own copy and i need some help to set it… if i set the ‘configuration>shell extension>open folder after extracting’ checkbox, after decompress an archive is opened the file manager on that folder but… if somebody is using a different file manager how to open XYplorer or Directory Opus for example and NOT the MS file manager? consider this as a feature request also if not available within the 2022 version

Okay, this seems to be a bust. Can anyone tell me the purpose of PA calling _pautil.exe? If it’s not important than I’ll just rename it so it can’t be called. Thanks.
