Solved PA 18.00.41 and Start Menu

@Brian-Gregory so in one of the latest versions we now clean up old program group, rename it to PowerArchiver and also delete old shortcut to PA 2017. So now when you upgrade from 2017 to 2018 all is nice and proper on Windows 7 and earlier system. Thanks!

@brian-gregory try deleting the program group and simply reinstalling over existing setup.
It should be PowerArchiver group now.
If there was a previous group, it will use it hence the issue.

I just tried that.
It just re-created the “PowerArchiver 2017” group but with only one icon in it called “PowerArchiver 2018”. -

I just tried that.
It just re-created the “PowerArchiver 2017” group but with only one icon in it called “PowerArchiver 2018”.Yeah, I just checked it now to be sure - so it requires uninstall and then next install of Pa 2018 will properly have PowerArchiver group… I guess it takes info from the registry about already existing program group.

Yes that works. But I had to manually delete the old “PowerArchiver 2017” group. Uninstalliing did not remove it.
This board was semi down again saying “connection lost” earlier so I couldn’t reply earlier.
