Compress to ISO problem
-
I’m using the latest version 11,60.23
I have the Compress to ISO context menu turned on when ever I select a bunch of files & hit compress to ISO
It brings up the CD Burning Window
I don’t wanna burn it I just wanna compress it It used to work But now it doesn’t maybe a bug?
Also I forgot to mention I’m using Windows 7
-
try selecting one file and then compress to iso - does it work?
i have tried on my win7, seems to be working fine.
-
(btw build iso window looks similar to burning window)
-
Yes one file beings up the Iso Window
But when that window is open if I select a bunch of folders
it ignores the folders & just does whats not in folders -
If I select one folder to bring up the ISO Burning window
then you use the add folder & add file button it seems to workIf I just select a folder & with the context menu click compress to ISO it seems to bring up the burning window atleast for me
-
so create iso window shows properly, but it does not add folders, just files?
thanks!

i am not sure what am I doing wrong, but i cant reproduce this - so any help would be very apperciated!

Interesting
I tried with other folders & the iso window shows up like normal but the specific folder I was trying to compress to Iso it would bring up the burning window when attempting to compress
Ok What I was trying to compress was My Copy of Windows XP Professional
I drug all the folders & files off the CD onto the desktop was going to compress in & keep it for back up purposes
but Power PA wouldn’t do it
so I started removing folders & files piece by piece to see what was cousing the burn wizard to come up & not the ISO Compression wizard
in that Windows XP Professional folder I was attempting to compress is a folder named I386
Once I removed that folder the iso window poped up like its supposed to
When I try to compress the 1386 folder it would bring up the Burn wizard for some odd reason
Dunno why
But it might make sense to others
-
the option works fine for me in Windows 7 but I haven’t tested it on XP files as ‘PowerAngel’ did.
-
I wish I could change my “Power Angel” name I musta been stoned when I made that …
-
works OK here too
If possible, please send a screenshot -
