Hello! :confused:

I just want to tell you that i discover a problem with this specific link http://www.mister-bills.com/downloads/MrBills.zip.

I can read this file but it is impossible to unzip it with PA. The internal Windows XP Pro zip/unzip can unzip it without any problem.

Could you mind tell me why a such problem occurs.

Chris is right. PA won’t extract it. But it does open and extract with 7-Zip file Manager and Winrar. :rolleyes:

However, open file with PowerArchiver and then run test reports
“Unexpected end of Zip file”
But click OK (twice) and test reports “No errors in the archive”

Why is there a difference between the test reports??

I have try the same operation and i was suprise that the test reports was ok.

its the zip engine dynazip that is at fault here you can download a trila of it from there web site and it fails too

Even trying PA Repair doesn’t work :confused:
Open MrBills_PAFixed.zip file with PowerArchiver and then run test
Still reports “Unexpected end of Zip file”

This will be fixed in 9.25. PowerArchiver will have better tolerance for out-of-spec ZIP files.

PKWare’s SecureZip as the only reference for ZIP archives extracts MrBill.zip without errors, so MrBill.zip must be a valid zip file. ;)

No, it just ignores the errors, like new PowerArchiver will do.
