I just tried using PA2017 to create a .pa extreme compression archive of a DSF file.
I left # of threads at Auto Select and it used 1 thread (25% CPU usage)
I cancelled that and created it again, this time manually selecting 4 threads and now it’s using 100% of the CPU.
I have a pae2 file that has multiple text files in it. When I open the file, I can double click one of the files and I can view it in a powerarchiver tab.
If you close that tab and attempt to open any other file in the archive, it will no longer open or extract. Only option after closing the tab is to close powerarchiver and reopen the file. If you don’t close the view tab, you can open other files as multiple tabs as long as you don’t close any of the viewer tabs. As soon as you close one tab, you no longer can view or extract any file.
Edit: didn’t realize this was the forum for PA format bugs until after I posted. If this can be moved to general bugs that would be great (unless the bug affect PA format viewing as well)

PowerArchiver Toolbox without the Advanced Codec Pack will not provide the .PA format.
I’ve checked your accounts and there are a few. Most of them do not include the Advanced Codec Pack but one does. It is the license that you won by being the GiveAwayOfTheDay idea winner. There, you won the Toolbox version with the Advanced Codec Pack and if you upgrade to 2019 from that license, the Advanced Codec Pack will allow you to use the .PA format.That license is under the email address which was used for the GOTD idea contest and I have sent you your account login information there so that you may log in and retrieve the 2019 registration.

@Mili I have not got any email yet, but i have my login details so i have pressed resend code in power archiver 2019 version and i got email for that. I have entered that code for registration but still got that error message. Can you help me in regard?

@Mili ok got the my other email address that have toolbox version with pa support but i think that is not lifetime upgradable license because i have not found any 2019 version resend button.
