Does that mean you have experienced the same problem with other archives as well? If so, let us know.

yes but only with zip archives. i can not upload them here but they work with winzip and winrar
-
… happening more and more … i can not upload them here …
I use zip a lot every day and haven’t seen this error.
Can you identify how your files were created (which tool / options)?
Is there something common about the mix of contents (files/folders) e.g. also have ttf? -

Is there something common about the mix of contents (files/folders) e.g. also have ttf?I dont think it is that common at all - I have been checking it while waiting for response from dynazip, and this particular file did not work for past 3 versions of PA, and it is the only file I know so far that doesnt work with PA, without any proper explanation.
thanks,

Here i found one that causes my error that i can release.
Omniquad AntiSpy DefMain.zip will cause the same error i get with my file.
If you right click and try to extract the archive it will fail to extract the archive fully
If you open the archive then select all contents and drag them to a folder it will error with text "Unexpected end of Zip file. probably the file is corrupt or missing spanned file.
Then you will notice all file in zip are gone then in the archive.
Then close powerarchiver and crash you are there. -
I have a zip archive containing 3 files: an exe, html, and txt. I attempt to extract the exe to a shared folder. It goes through the extraction process, but the file is not visible in the destination folder. If I extract again, it confirms whether I want to overwrite. i.e. the file is somehow there, but not accessible or visible. I have tried extracting to various folders with the same result. In each case I am opening the archive before processing. I tried the same archive with WZ, and it extracted OK.

Check file attributes in the archive? Thats something different in any case…

Omniquad AntiSpy DefMain.zip
Is the name correct? I went to http://www.ominquad.com
On their download page AntiSpy file is named TSAntiSpy.zip and extracts OK
Also tried TSPassword.zip - also extracts OK.I cannot see a DefMain.zip there?
-
Yes the software is correct.
http://www.omniquad.com/TotalSecurity/TSAntiSpy.zipDownload their antispyware solution. then install it
Update the signature database then look C:\Program Files\Omniquad Total Security\AntiSpy\Sig\Defmain.zip it is their signature database.
