PDF Previews Gone
-
When I select a PDF inside an archive with the Preview Pane is active, PA will launch PDF XChange Editor instead of previewing the PDF in the Pane!
Might try another PDF reader later, PDF XChange is Fast and 64-bit
Please change PA to use Microsoft Edge for PDF handling, IE11 is useless.
-
PSD preview has gone also but at times it took way too long to open them anyways.

I don’t get it, I have one machine here that works great and the other doesn’t. One is Windows 10 Home and the other Pro. This is some stupid registry entry gone wrong

What launches in Windows Explorer preview? Edge?
-
Windows Explorer pane uses PDF XChange Editor active-x plugin to preview the PDF but Both IE11 and PA go and launch a new process of PDF XChange Editor.
Love the builtin PDF viewer in Edge just need to get developers to move off f**king ActiveX garbage and switch to Edge\Chromium style tech.

I am not sure that MS has exposed their PDF viewer though. When that happens, it will likely be automatically supported. It has to be through activex, thats the only way.
And also, I had to download latest Acrobat since the Edge PDF viewer seems to be broken on my computer… cant load PDFs with Edge anymore. I keep using latest tech preview version, that might be why.

When Adobe Acrobat\Reader stops using the internet\cloud? to view a local PDF I may return to using it.

i didnt notice that? In any case, it also has issues as well. I had to reinstall it few times to make it working (it is own instance).
It sucks to have to do so much work when you simply have to print something 2 times per month.
