Folder error message
-
Either
1. Right click a zip file and choose ‘Extract To’ then ‘Extract To …’
or
2. Open a zip archive in PowerArchiver. Right click a file in the archive and choose ‘Extract filename…’then a spurious error message pops up and I have to click OK.
though this doesn’t seem to prevent me doing what I wanted.

I cannot reproduce either sorry.
Might be a UAC issue though -

Might be a UAC issue thoughOkay thanks.
Not as simple as I thought then :-(The messages are messages about directories.
in the case 1. it says “no directory selected”.
(Well yes, clearly no directory is selected yet. I’m supposed to select it next, and I don’t need to be told I haven’t selected yet just before I’m asked to select a directory)in case 2. it says a directory with the same name as the archive doesn’t exist.
(assuming it doesn’t exist – of course it might exist, in which case – no message)
This is probably because I have the default extract location set to be a directory with the same name as the archive.
( Default Extract Location = .\archive ) -
can you please take a screenshot of messages, that will help a lot? Next step is to email exported settings file to support at conexware dot com
