Support?



  • Hi again - just wondering if the preferred method to get support is in fact now the forums?

    Just asking since I lodged a support request using the ‘Support Form’ at: http://www.powerarchiver.com/support/ and didn’t get a response from last week - and the ‘PowerArchiver Version’ drop down only goes as high as PA 2013 - making we wonder if it even makes sense to use the form at all as opposed to posting here on the forums…

    Normally support is quick, posting on forum’s can be faster just depends who online and the type of problem it is.

    Try posting a thread on the forum of your problem/question as well. Either way, someone will get back to you.

    I think he is having some trouble with support form, but it works fine for us here so not sure what the issue is… Steje responded to some other post where we tried to clear this.

    In any case, even if for whatever reason support form does not work, you can always contact us directly via email at support at conexware dot com, or contact us page at the top of the site, forums, and live chat while we are in the office. There is also Facebook and Twitter although that might actually get slower response than all of the above.

    You can also call us at 1-888-302-8800 toll free if you are in the USA and leave a message for call back at any time, if we are not in the office.

    If anything, we are always around for the support!



  • Yeah, wolfs got it… it was based on some apparent breakage in the support form when I try to use it.

    I just submitted another report now using Chrome. Before that, I’d been using an older version of Opera. Any sign of the new report coming in? I got the same response after clicking on submit:

    Your report has been sent, and will be replied to as soon as possible!

    can you simply send an email to support at conexware dot com?

    Not sure whats wrong with the form, since it works for other people and me when i tested it, so thats pretty strange… but lets check if email works properly.



  • I will certainly use either the email or forums here in the future. I’m not complaining about a lack of support response or anything :-).

    Please realize - I posted simply to ‘question’ if the support ‘Form’ was intended to be used anymore because I didn’t get a response and because the latest version in the list was quite old. The last part in particular happens sometimes when companies switch their support model at a point in time and neglect to update older links, etc…

    And I only continued to try in case you wanted to figure out why it wasn’t working. But I’m content to just move on with life :-).

    Thats why I asked you to send email, please send it - it uses same support system. I want to check if that works for you.

    We keep getting support emails via web form all the time, so it is weird that it does not work for you.
