What exactly were you doing, can you reproduce it again?

IE? What does PA have to do with IE?
-
I don’t know where you got IE out of explore.exe…
This problem still exists but is very rare.

This problem still exists but is very rare.shoe posted an image of buffer overflow of Internet Explorer…which got this thread back from dead.
In any case, Buffer Overflows do happen all the time in MS Windows (you can monitor system calls to see how often), problem is that stack based BO’s can be misused, but not heap based. If you find the reason why are you getting it, please let us know.
thanks!
