Can't mount Virtual Drive PA2011
-
I can’t for the life of me mount a DVD using PA 2011. All it tells me is an error occurred during installation of the device. Any ideas? I’ve uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them….to no avail.
-
did it ever work or with some other iso?
-
You want to know something? It works great with other ISOs….didn’t even thing about that. Thanks for knocking some common sense into me spwolf :) Must be a corrupt ISO.
As a side note…I dont see a option when right clicking the mounted ISO to unmount…I swear I remember that option in PA2010?

:-)
option was NOT there in 2010, but it is in 2011 - you have to manually turn it on in config> shell.
-
Ah yes I see that. Odd thing is when clicking unmount from the shell it tells me the device is in use, but if I to to PA itself and tell it to unmount then select the drive it does it with no issue. Any ideas? Thanks so much for the help!

when you right click on the My Computer> Drive> Unmount, or right click any file> Unmount?
-
When looking at my computer with all the drives, and right clicking to unmount what I had previously mounted it will give that error.
-
Says something about problem ejecting, then tells me device in use.
-
yeah, known issue… but right click on any file (NOT Drive) and select Unmount, and it will work fine.
For instance, anything on desktop> Unmount will bring Unmount menu.

Ah ok cool. Glad it has been flagged, would be great to see that working. I’ll do the workaround for now, thanks spwolf!
