Opening multiple files; small hiccup

  • Banned

I appreciate your adding the ability to simultaneously open multiple files in an archive.

    Thanks.

But there was a slight hiccup. I got an error message: “Exception while creating thread.”

It successfully opened the multiple files (although I didn’t edit them). However, I assume the message indicates something is wrong.

  • Quick question, is it reproducible (happens every time) ?
What type of files were you opening?

Sorry, I should have included this info first time.

    It is a zipx file.

The files within the zipx are PDF files.

The same thing happened on three different occasions. The same error message – multiple times. But it always opened all the files.

  • Cool - you’re right.

Created a zipx with 5 pdf files.
Double click zipx (opens in PA).
Double click single pdf - opens OK

Select/Highlight three pdf and double-click : Get the error windows as Socrates described.

Note: I got two errors, so possibly caused by second and third??

Simple error window (no window title) with no way to identify source as PA or PDF viewer. However, as my pdf tool is PDF-Xchange viewer and I think Socrates will have different one…

My simple check now works OK for me in 12.00.38
