Burn ISO to DVD error

 • Dec.29
Hello
I have this .iso file on my hd, rmb click, burn to DVD+RW.

The DVD is not empty (I know). PA gets an error and closes, I click okay and PA closes - ‘burn finished’
(not successful though)

Have used Nero now to burn the iso. Nero reported that the media was not empty, but I clicked okay to overwrite it.

Burn is succesful now.

Shd PA not ask to overwrite exisiting data and then, similar to Nero continue ?

thanks
==

later: (dec.30)

I successfully burned an iso video file to a dvd+rw (sofar I was using Nero for this).
Likely … the error yesterday was because I forgot to tag ‘Erase disc before writing’ at the beginning.
I just again wanted to burn an ISO on a disc that contained data, indeed it got me below error.

I clicked OK - went ‘<Back’
Selected the Writer and tagged ‘Erase before writing’

Burn started and got following error.

Okay, again went back, refresh, wait, etc.
All clear ??

Again error.

Then closed PA and relaunched (did not take out the DVD+RW), selected the iso

Now everything went fine again…

This has been solved.

Question:
Is it possible to a context menu to burn DVD-videos from folders like these:

X:\MovieName
-Video_TS

Where VOB files are located.

Have tried to burn them twice but ended up with PA not responding.

Anyway, I assume PA does not support writing in DVD format sofar?

Sorry for long mail.
Upon Preview I noticed the screenshots are a big large, but then again, text may not be readable…?

thanks
==

later: I discovered I had ‘verify tagged’…
The burn process took some 15 minutes (4.6GB DVD)
The verify process took some 22 minutes.

==
