Normally software provides a way to get the version number inside of the About… dialog. Copy and paste works for almost all Microsoft products. I know they do not own a patent on that routine as Ctrl+C never ended up patented by the makers of WordStar. Shift+Delete and Ctrl+Insert or whatever the key combinations are all freebies! How come there’s no way to copy and paste the version number here? I would copy and paste the version number but it’s such a common thing on ALL Microsoft software that any version without it should get a FREE update.
That’s the full complaint number two! The next post is not a complaint but I post it here because it’s a technical question for those that build the decompression engines. I look forward to the replies to that post.
we will check it out…
