Hi,
Power Archiver is working beautifully, but I am having one basic problem. I can’t figure out how to navigate to my desired destination folder. I am dragging and dropping the RAR contents to the desired destination but am sure there is another way to do this.

I’m thinking I should be able to click a button to say unpack to…

If you have PowerArchiver open, then with the rar archive open, click the Extract button - a dialogue opens where you select the destination.

If you are in Windows explorer (rather than Powerarchiver) then right click on the rar archive and select the option “Extract to …”
(may need to add this option using PowerArchiver / Options / Configuration / Shell Extensions )

there is quite large extract button in the interface… its not hard to find, so maybe for some reason you dont have it? Or did you just overlook it?

Thank you so much. I just tried it and it worked fine. What happened when I initially clicked it was it extracted my files without the dialog that is presented. So it was a goof and I didn’t try it again as I didn’t want it to continue placing files where I didn’t want them to go.

We’re all set now.
