Hi there is something wrong with my modern skin. I was changing the skin and after I changed back to the modern skin it became messed up. Please have a look at the image below.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesnt work. Also for some reason when I press the close button it doesnt close instantly. It hangs for a few seconds and then closes. It used to work fine a few months ago. Maybe some registry entries got messed up due to spyware?

Please let me know how i can fix the problem.

did you try Options> Set defaults?

I don’t see any such option in the “Options” menu of the classic skin. The options tab in the modern skin is blank. There is nothing in there.

What happens when you uninstall? Do you still get modern skin after installation or do you get asked if you want modern or classic?

If I set the skin to classic and then uninstall and reinstall the skin remains classic. However if I set the skin to modern and then reinstall and the option “show configuration option for first time install” is selected i get that window from which you can select modern or classic. If I select modern I see the modern skin without the errors. But if I try changing skins again the modern skin gets messed up again.

But today I posted since the modern skin problem occurred on its own without me trying to change the skins.

Also I wanted to know why the powerarchiver window hangs for a few second before closing instead of closing instantly.

let me know what exactly do you do with skins so we can try to reproduce it.

Delay is when you have archive open, it takes a little bit to close the interface.

I don’t do anything with the skins. Just try to select a different skin and then select the modern skin again and it gets messed up.

Also the delay wasnt there a few months ago. And the delay occurs even if there is no archive loaded.

That video shows what I do to reproduce the problem. From installation to where the modern theme gets messed up. Have a look. And yes I am using latest version.

Edit: Forgot to mention that the delay does not occur in the classic theme. It closes instantly. So its definitely the modern theme thats causing it.
