PA queue problem
-
hi,
in ‘options > queue’ I selected ‘always use queue’. then in the explorer, I selected a lot of .zip files ans asked to unzip. they went into the queue but for some unknown reason (maybe to many files in the queue?) the queue manager crached.
now I can no longer use the queue manager as PA starter crach again and again.
how can I empty the queue ?
TIA,
Pierre -
nice… how many zips did you add?
-
I had 192 ZIP to uncompress, and I visually (in the explorer) selected about 1/4 of them. PA starter started to open/add them in the queue but crached after about 10 of them.
I run WinXPSP2 with the lastest patches.

To empty queue you have to open Registry editor, open key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PowerArchiver\Queue
and set the value of “NrQueues” to 0 (zero).
Thanks!

thanx a lot :)
BTW, I also removed all the queues entries -

I encountered a similar problem:
This resolved it. Perhaps the next minor upgrade can include some sort of check to prevent this?
Hi,
it will be fixed so it works with hundreds of files…

Thanks!
The limit of queue should be fixed in 10.1.

Please check prerelease version 10.1 B1:
