Yes a couple of times actually, I only first noticed the problem today (I upgrade the other day and hadn’t used PA since then).

easiest way to “fix” it would be to try to uninstall PA 2007 and then install it again… that will delete all the settings and it should work afterwards.

I’ve been experiencing a similar problem with the latest version of PA and vista. If I right click and drag a compresses file to another folder I do not get option to “extract here etc” If I try the same thing in XP, it works ok, but in vista the option is not there. Am I missing something? Thanks.

i just tried it and it seems to work fine, same as in XP. Original poster didnt get any shell extensions.

Maybe it is some option set differently or something a bit more specific in your case…

That’s strange, I’ve looked at all the shell extention options and I can’t seem be able to fix this issue. I wonder if it makes a difference when using the 64bit edition?

I also uninstalled the old version before installing version 10.00.36

After uninstalling and reinstalling, I am experiencing the same problem. (Yes, I restarted after the uninstall)

Is the issue worth investigating?

there you go - 64bit edition has completly different shell extensions, so this feature was never added there… I will put it on the list for future updates.
