Multi-Monitor and Power Archiver
-
I just installed the demo of PowerArchiver (friend’s recommendation). Been using a freeware (7Zip) and thought I would try this one. Looks and works great, considering purchasing, but have one problem with multi monitor. PA won’t stay in the second monitor, if you close PA in the second monitor, it will start in the second monitor, but if you drag a file out of an archive or use the extract command, the progress bar opens and PA then reappears on the first monitor. Is there a way within PA to keep it only on the second monitor?
Thanks!

there is no such option right now for sure. We will take a look to see what we can do about it in one of the future updates.
Of course, base your purchasing decision on the fact that it is not working to your liking right now :-).

Add my vote to a fix for this. PA is one of the most useful programs I ever bought. This minor niggle does irritate me on a daily basis, though.

I have experienced this same problem with other applications such as Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and adobé 8 Pro.
It’s a common issue that effects multiple applications, and I agree that it is slightly frustrating.
But on a more realistic side. How many users have dual screen and depend on such an application to co-inside with split screen requirements.
3 so far. and I too would like a fix for this minor problem.

@Sir:

It’s hardly a major problem, of course, but the number of dual screen users is rising (in fact, over 75% of the people I know now have dual screen setups). And of course, for every person that reports the bug or posts on this forum, there’s 10 others that experience it but keep quiet.
3 votes and counting :)
