9.61.03 shell extension bug
-
When I am working in a directory that contains both folders and files, I encounter a bug with the shell extension.
I select all the files and folders in a directory, right-click, and choose Compress To “Foobar.zip”. A the compression dialog will appear and disappear quickly and will produce neither an error or a zip file.
If I select only folders OR only files and use the Compress to “Foobar.zip” shell extension, it works but selecting BOTH folders and files seems to crash PowerArchiver.
Can someone please confirm this?

I was able to confirm this bug on my other machine.

seems to be limited to zip format and only from default shell extension, works fine with compression+options.
thanks,

Confirmed (problem only in Zip) - and works even if only pressing Add in “Compress with options…” {Zip} dialogue.

you mean works with add in compress with options and doesnt work in compress to filename.zip?

Yes.
Shell -> compress to xx.zip fails
Shell -> compress with options… -> (default is Zip) so Click Add -> works. -
