Just tried using the Modern (Windows 10) Icon set and seeing a few missing icons in both PowerArchiver Burner and PowerArchiver Encryption screens . They are all there in the Minimalistik icon set and the only difference I can see is the former is blue and the latter grey. In version 22.00.9

From where I get PAVD2023.EXE? PowerArchiver 2023 tries to open it.
But it seems, it tries to download PAVD2021.EXE.

I noticed that the version of ZPAQ used is older than the latest released 7.15 https://mattmahoney.net/dc/zpaq.html also there seems to be a newer fork that adds several features https://github.com/fcorbelli/zpaqfranz
It would be useful to implement this latest version (it also maintains the same syntax and behavior as the latest official release if used the -715 flag) and add when opening a zpaq file a choice of the version of the files to show (e.g. as dummy folders represented the various versions present). Since any previous changes are stored with this format, it is possible to extract a snapshot of a certain date/version.
If I open a password-protected zipper file (created with WinRAR but I think that’s irrelevant), open it with PowerArchiver and run “Remove Encryption” on the same file, then reopen it and add a password with “Encrypt Archive,” the resulting archive will be protected with the old ZipCrypto algorithm and not AES as indicated.
(this can be verified, for example, by trying to open the archive files with Windows Explorer, which does not support the AES algorithm)
PA 21.00.18 running on Windows 7 64 bit.
I made a big .PA file and thought I’d check it was made correctly with Menu / Actions / Test.
Discovered:
a) PA always issues a UAC prompt to do this!
b) PA always says there are many errors in PA files.

I see that on the news page about the new PA beta that PowerArchiver 2006 uses a new registration system. and that we will need to obtain a registration code for PowerArchiver 2006 by visiting your account page.
Slight problem, when I go to the account page it requires the email address and password provided when ordering. I have the email address but I have never had a password. So how do I get my new registration code ?
I have emailed ordering@conexware.com but no response yet.
I want my registration back. :mad:

Same here I registered the first Paying PA rebuilt my computer changed computers few times changed Internet provider so even my Email adress is not good anymore so???

If you are an registered user and are using:
a. same email address as at the time of purchase, but you have forgotten your password, just enter your email and any password. You will be fowarded to bad password screen with a link to password recovery.
b. different email address now - and old email being unavailable for your use, email us via support form with your info and we will update your email.
All users, including those from 4 years ago (except for original donators) are in the system, even if you never received the password or purchased via old purchasing system.
Of course, if you have any trouble, just let us know.

I have my original email from SWREG dated 6/27/2001. The email address I am using is still the same. I am not sure where to go from here.

that means it is not correct email address. If you dont get it within minutes, please check first your anti-spam filter and then email us with the details and we will check it out.

Sorry Spywolf but the email address is correct I am sitting here with my email registration number reciept in front of me. Not any anti-spam filter either. Checked my logs nothing there.
What address do you want details sent to ? Oh and exactly what details do you require. Maybe obvious to you but I’m having one of those days. :p
