hey all, if I buy a copy, will it be 9.5 or the old 9.25 ?

As 9.5 is in beta, today (08.08.2005) the official version is 9.25, so that would be the version you buy.
Note: Although your license code would need to be changed for 9.5 (even for the beta) it is straightforward, see the “news” page for details of this.

Everyone who purchased PA from 1st of August 2005 will get free upgrade to PA2006 even if they are Business license users (purchase will count as if they purchased PA2006).

How far back will a free upgrade to PA 2006 be considered? I don’t recall having an account page and using my email I got my serial from does not result in a password being sent to it.

I am one of these old users and I just contacted your company about obtaining this account so I can get a new reg code and the email back asks me for my address and phone number. This kind of sent up a red flag, so I would like that request to be verified here by an administrator before I send that in.
As you can tell, I’m a little paranoid that my email somehow didn’t reach you and someone else is digging for my information. And please also tell me why this info is needed, thanks. Please don’t take this as an attack. I just try to be careful with my information during these times when information is stolen from hacked computers on a daily basis and spam emails and trojans try to get one to reveal bank accounts and the like.
Oh, and strangely enough SpamPal flagged this email for some reason- I’m glad I check my junk folder to make sure it’s junk.

we lost registration information for some of the first users we had (around 100), which is why we need full info from them again. Phone number is not really needed, it is just something you enter. Address is needed for our database reasons. Originally, it was needed for credit card processing company.
It is very hard to verify anything if we dont have basic address information. This info is absolutly not shared with anyone or anybody and will never be used unless we need to verify some change (for instance you changed emails or similar).
