Please Re-Enable "Show Images" on PA Forums
-
I have “Show Images” enabled in my Forum Control Panel Options, but yet images are not displayed.
I assume this feature has been disabled by thge PA forum mods. Please can you re-enable this feature.
-
They are not enabled because for users with slower connections pages will load too slow.
thanks,

I understand that, but there is no need to disable from an Administrator level since each user can enable or disableit in Control Panel Options.
Please can you re-enable this feature at the Admin level.

deipotent is right.
images should be enabled -
problem is that I can either enable it for all or disable it for all, hence it will be disabled so most people can surf the boards properly.

You’re missing the point. There are two settings - the Admins (ie. yours), and the users (accessed from the “User Control Panel” link at the top of the forum).
If you (ie. the Admin) set it to SHOW images, and the user has set it to NOT SHOW images in the forum Users Control Panel, then images WILL NOT be shown.
If you (ie. the Admin) set it to SHOW images, and the user has set it to SHOW images in the forum Users Control Panel, then images WILL be shown.
If you (ie. the Admin) set it to NOT SHOW images, and the user has set it to NOT SHOW images in the forum Users Control Panel, then images WILL NOT be shown.
If you (ie. the Admin) set it to NOT SHOW images, and the user has set it to SHOW images in the forum Users Control Panel, then images WILL NOT be shown.
As illustrated by my examples, even if you enable it at the Admin level, then individual users can still choose to NOT show images by setting this option in their Users control Panel.
It works OK on www.wilderssecurity.com which uses the same forum software (ie. vBulletin).
Please enable this option.
