Won't work as client in ftp/sftp bridge
-
In PA2003 or 2004, “compress & ftp” will save the file to the ftp target.
However, when trying to compress & ftp to an SFTP target via an ftp/sftp bridge, PA returns error “check your username and password”.
However, other ftp clients do not return such error when going through the sftp bridge (i.e., they work).
Thus, there must be something wrong with PA that prevents it from working in an ftp/sftp bridge situation.
See http://www.bitvise.com/ftp-bridge.html
Any ideas how to make it work??? “Compress & ftp” is such a great feature.

That link is for a PowerArchiver team member to browse to. There is a problem with PowerArchiver FTP authentication procedure, which I described it at that link.
