Write directly INTO ZIP Bug
-
in the “Add” window
the “Write directly INTO ZIP” option is available for all archive types. But in the help stands
lets you add files to an existing ZIP directly, without using temporary folder first. This feature is very useful when handling large archives.
So I think this option should be disabled, if the user select other archives than ZIP

I agree with you… ;)

This probably slipped somehow through hands of our reliable alpha testers…
:-)Although it is really nothing but cosmetic issue, please try not giving us heart attack by writing “BUG” in subject of every thread with any kind of issue. When I see “BUG” in thread subject I immediatly think of something extremly major that breaks your computer, formats your drive, turns off your TV, empties your fridge, etc, etc.
:D

May I suggest having a separate “Bugs” sub-forum for all expected bugs. The Tech Support sub-forum could then be explicitly used for technical enquiries, leaving the “Bugs” forum for bugs or possible bugs threads.
This would make it easier foir PA staff to differeniate between posible bugs and technical enquiries.

Is that really needed? I was merely pointing to our Alpha testers that they missed the bug (in a joking way) and that it is not an big problem as subject suggested.
By default, I would expect every post in Tech support forums to be some kind of issue/bug, big or small.
In any case, thanks for the sarcasm!

I try to remember this next time I make a post :D
