ImgBurn 2.5.8.0 ISO images and PowerArchiver Toolbox
-
Ok I have a small 1Mb ISO (4 XML logs for MBAM) compressed called “Test.7z” that also doesn’t display contents in PA which was created with ImgBurn 2.5.8.0.
Please see what you can make of it?

Just re-created the same ISO with the same files as “ISO9660\Joliet” instead of “UDF” and PowerArchiver has no problem displaying the files at all!
PowerArchiver has problems with UDF 2.01 ISO’s created by ImgBurn 2.5.8.0 it would seem.
Update, no problems with UDF 1.02 ISO’s.
Update, no problems with UDF 1.50 ISO’s.
Update, problems with UDF 2.00, 2.50 and 2.60 ISO’s.

thanks, we will check it out.

gonna install imgburn and give it a try with the latest version. thanks!

ISO types:
ISO 9660 Juliet most works (just found one that doesn’t)
UDF 1.x works
UDF 2.x doesn’t workI think it depends on the type of ISO and what app created it, IMGBurn in this case.

MDusswould you or your friend be able to send us an .img/.iso file that does not work as described above?
Just tested creating and ISO and and IMG via IMGBurn, both opened fine in latest PA 16.03.01.
Can you send us some of the files you are using to create the IMG/ISO that does not work in PA?
We’ll try with those. You can send to support at conexware dot com
thanks!

Hi Mili.
The files are very big, nearly 2.5GB, so it is not very easy to send them.
I send my friend in Australia an email so that he try it again with the iso file.
Maybe it will work than.MfG

one suggestion that could help is send them the file via dvd post wise.
second suggestion would be to look at the type of iso that has been created. Try a different setting to produce another iso that powerarchiver can read then we can highlight a seting or iso format that powerarvchiver needs updating/ adding.
What iso format is being created? that’s the question.
