I am trying to encrypt a folder by right clicking on it but I keep getting the followibng error seen in the screen shot.

I am running latest version 11.62.04 on Windows 7 64 bit

Ok when i right click on a file or folder and select “Encrypt” thats when I get this error. Everytime

Is this a bug?

However if I right click on a file or folder and select “Compress To with options” it works good with no errors.

you can not select folder or even multiple files in Encrypt tool… how are you selecting folder, typing it in? You can simply create new encrypted archive via normal Add.

I was just right clicking on a folder and selecting “Encrypt” from the context menu then I select my Encryption options then select Encrypt.

But I see now all I have to do is select “Compress with Options”

So can I ask what the “Encrypt” in the context menu is used for?

so its shell extensions, first pic did not show shell extensions… seems like 64bit shell extensions show that option, while 32bit do not (as it should be)…
