Application freeze and items missing from right-click menu.

When I open a compressed file, the app will freeze when I click on ‘extract’ after selecting the items I want to extract. A critical item is also missing from the right-click menu (little menu that comes up when you right click. ‘extract to filename’ (which I did enable in the options) is an essential function for me. What’s actually available (in right-click menu) are ‘extract here’, ‘convert’, and ‘compress to’.

what version of PA are you using?
update to v11.61.06 it’s the latest version because I seem to recall having a similar issue with an earlier version.
I have a tendency to do a clean installation also instead of just an update…:) -

I’m using 11.61.06 and still experiencing the same problems.
UPDATE: Hmm. I seem to have gotten the ‘extract to same folder name as file name’ function I wanted with a different shell extension, but clicking ‘extract’ within’ PA (as in after double clicking a compressed file) still freezes it.

you mean clicking extract button in main powerarchiver interface freezes your powerarchiver?

Yes. AVG free. I’ll try closing it immediately.
