does anyone else suffer from intermittent flickering of drop down menus when using certain areas of PA ?
in particular these windows as seen in screenshot.

I’ve only started noticing it since installing Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and wondered if other users have encountered it.
the menu opens but flickers about 3 or 4 times before stabilizing…
PA/W7 or Graphics Card I wonder ?

I don’t recall ever having this problem in Vista 32bit.

Don’t see it myself moles42, but I am using Vista not Win7, so that tells you nothing. ;)

Is it worth checking for an updated graphics driver or are you up to date on that one?

I’m using latest drivers for my card…a process of elimination I guess…PA/Windows 7 or my card.
strange thing is it doesn’t happen on any other software I’m using with drop down menus.

it is some issue with ribbon ui component we use in win7 only… we will update it as soon as it is fixed.

just noticed it myself… 11.61.01 improved ribbon already (proper font color, better window border in non themed vista/win7)

Hey moles42, I noticed something similar here, in that the menu flickers, but only once, before stabilizing. Sorry I’m a bit slow with the updates, but I am still recovering from my “Twitter” affliction. :D :rolleyes:

this works fine here now… it was flickering like crazy before.

guess we just have to live with it then…:)
it’s not like it’s a life threatening ordeal I guess…;)
